+# KCA browser end-to-end tests
+
+Playwright tests that exercise the core PKI workflow through the real SPA and
+API.
+
+Prerequisites:
+

+The default base URL is `http://localhost:8080`. Override it with
+`KCA_BASE_URL`, e.g. when testing the Trunk dev server on `:8000` or a
+non-default Compose port:

+The tests use unique usernames, so repeated runs do not collide. The mock OIDC
+provider accepts any username.
